I get all kinds of inspiration from other peoples work, both demonstrated and just looking at the finished product. 30 years ago when I started making soft glass beads there was not much to go on but try to reverse engineer existing work, and just try lots of ideas as I gathered skills. Still SO much to learn and skills yet to develop!

You make stringer pulling look so easy. I stink at that still!

It will get easier over time just like anything else. Practice with clear, use a soft flame and work a couple inches out from the torch. Just try to do it slow and focus on the "shoulder" where the heat needs to be.
