Laura do you have any suggestions for how to get rid of bugs nipping at the sweet potato vines? I just put a few in my flower bed with some supertunias and someone’s bitting on their leaves 😢. Need oil keeps coming up - not sure if it’s safe for all flowering /annuals.

I found some El Brighto coleus yesterday and almost knocked some people over on my rush to fill my cart with all the beautiful Proven Winner plants I saw! I keep telling myself that I am done buying plants... but I don't listen to liars. 😂 Laura, I think the window boxes are the most beautiful combination you have planted! I love that you used the white guara as the center piece! I live in No. Arizona and I have tried every year to get white guara. I did manage to snag a pink...but no white to be had. Last year we traveled to Washington to see our son and on our way back to Arizona we took a side trip to Andrew's where I was able to buy three white guara! They'll be a year in July and they are beautiful! It was also a treat to finally get to see Andrew's in person!

I bought up a few of those El Brighto coleus plants last year and looooved their vigor!! I had to cut them back a “few” times, bc they got SOOOOO HUUUUGE!! I was beyond impressed! I’m on the hunt for some this year but I haven’t had any luck yet 😢 I wonder why more people aren’t carrying them in their shops!?!? Anyhoo, I’ve loooved your channel for the past 5-6 years, and you are #1 on my playlist. Also wanted to say that Aaron is a very gifted cameraman and editor! Laura, I know you have struggled with Japanese maples in pots. I have kept 20 of them in 8-10 inch pots for decades. You should root prune them every 1-2 years in the Fall. This means take out the maple from the pot and cut down the root ball by about 1-2 inches all around. I do this after the heat is the summer so the roots can start to grow before our zone 6 winter weather
