I've been closely listening to Miss Yende and reading other viewers critiques. The majority is correct. It's to her best interest to work on her upper high coloratura register. Screeching etc is not pleasant to the ear. So I truly hope her coaches really work on her higher register. To protect and bring out the best she has yet to offer. Good luck Miss Yende. Were all waiting with baited breath for what's to come.

The last time I checked, I'm sure that I remember it being perfectly okay for me to express my opinion on a subject. Just because my view is different than yours, is no reason for your comment. I still say that to me she has a beautiful and quite remarkable voice, but the highest notes do need more support especially if she decides to make these bel canto roles a specialty of hers.

Her tone sounds a bit like Netrebko's. And like Netrebko, I think she is a straight-up lyric, not a bel cantist. This music taxes her upper register.

She cannot sing in tune, never has, never will. She has such poor technique she sounds like a woman in her 50's or older. Throughly mediocre.
