I can HONESTLY say.... Pretty Little Fro and Naptural85 are two of my favorite KZbinrs and they BOTH use aloe Vera water/juice! Every since I have put aloe Vera juice in my regimen I ALWAYS get compliments on how pretty my hair is and how soft it is. And.... I did use Aussie Moist in the beginning of my journey and I stopped (got caught up in all the other stuff) but I came back to it and no other conditioner has done it like Aussie does it! So I TOTALLY agree! (FYI: Hair texture 4b 😊)

I used to use Aussie Moist all the time when I was in middle school/high school (I'm in college) but I haven't recently because it has cones. I plan on using it again because I really loved that conditioner and I had no problems with it. I guess I got caught up in using natural hair products that I just thought it was a bad idea to use Aussie Moist when it wasn't. Some of my favorite hair products are... - Shea Moisture Raw Shea Butter Moisture Retention Shampoo - Curls Blueberry Bliss Reparative Hair Mask - Alikay Naturals Lemongrass Leave In Conditioner - Oyin Handmade Hair Dew - Shea Moisture Coconut & Hibiscus Curl and Style Milk - Africa's Best Ultimate Herbal Oil

I'm using the Aussie conditioner right now (I like to watch YT videos during my wash day) been using it for two years now and I love it! I used to use that the Do Grow oil when I would always straighten my hair everyday, it would always leave my hair so soft. I might have to try it for my natural hair!! :)

sooooooo true about the Aloe Vera...Its the bees knees!...I discovered its importance to my hair last year and its definitely is in my top 5 holy grail must haves... 1)bekura palm tapioca(my hair loves cocoa butter and not shea...odd, i know) 2)mango butter(qhemets aethiopika butter, original moxie hair bling) 3)aloe vera juice(chiiiiiiiiiiiiiile yes) 4)bekura java bean and honey(its the honey actually that my hair gravitates towards) 5)...and lastly HEAT!!!(NOT BLOWDRYING, but simply prepooing under a hooded dryer) Keep up the videos honey...we have the same hair type and i definitely enjoyed the Loreal serum referral...Woo hoo!!!

I've always wanted to try Mixed Chicks products but my mom didn't think they'd work on my hair type (4c realness). I finally decided to try them last year, never giving up on them. Although, I don't like their leave-in, it's sticky, I hate sticky products (it doesn't even have to be about hair). I will def try the Aussie conditioner, I've been in the hunt for a decent conditioner for months. I used Doo grow (grew?) as a kid, it was good but I found my staple oils and I'll revisit the aloe vera. TFS!

I admire the fact that you don't recommend expensive products...Actually, most of the women I know with long hair don't necessarily use expensive "high end" products...I think hereditary also has a lot to do with the ability to grow long healthy hair. Yet, I will try the aloe water, aussie moist, and doo grow (which I tried years ago). I'm trying to simplify hair care regimen (yes, I am natural) and spend less money.

Do you dilute the aloe vera juice or take it straight to the head? I currently mix it with distilled water, vit E, EVOO, and jajoba to use as a spritzer and it works great. Just wondering if it would work even better as a undiluted leave in.

good question. I'm low porosity 4c, and have had mixed experiences with it. sometimes it leave my hair hard. others, it leaves my hair so soft and elongated. best results are from when I'm refreshing my hair during the week. worst experiences are when I use it on wash day.
