Sherri the reason I love your channels is because you are always growing not to mention you are so down to earth. Girl, I love how you think when decorating your home. Especially, when you decorate it on how you feel. Your space looks so cozy, inviting and warm. We had company last Fall and she had been here a few times, but her hubby hasn’t. He asked her if he would feel comfortable in our home. Her response was, our house would fit inside her home, but it’s either thrifted or homemade, I was hurt when she told me that, because I felt, like my home was full of trash. Needless to say, my hubby said, consider the source, because I’ve been to their home multiple times, and my hubby once and I didn’t feel comfortable or even at home. But, Sherri, it still hurt, until her hubby walked in and said multiple times throughout their visit, how much he loved our home and he could live here, even with the stairs. Sherri, I finally realized, that a home is what you make it and you find your joy and peace in it. A house is some where people just live in. I love your thought process when you decorate, change, redecorate until you find your peace & joy. Keep on keeping on decorating your style and warmth. I truly wished I met you when I lived in your area. We have much in common. 😊

Love your philosophy! I agree with you. Especially living with something before you decide to change it. I'll throw everything but the kitchen sink at something, and then slowly take things away until it feels right. It often takes a couple of days of living with something I'm not crazy about until it hits me what's wrong with it.
