Prussia, which was to become a byword for German militarism and authoritarianism, began its history outside Germany altogether. The people called Preussen in German, who inhabited the land on the south-eastern coast of the Baltic, were Slavs

Think you spend too much is ancient atlases, the Teutonic Knight displaced those Slavs with Germans in the Baltic Crusades and took the name since the region was there's now. Like a Crusader Kingdom that survived.

I'm sorry, but the ancient "Prussian" tribes were no Slavs, yet Baltic people, just like the modern Lithuanians or Latvians. Though, these Baltic Prussians were replaced by the German settlers later on adopting their tribal name.

Who you mean with "they"? If you mean Preussians they won many wars. Expecially in 18th and 19th century (this march is from 19th century).

@@akdele5wtf you have no idear they were the strongest of europe the 7 years war was sweden, Austria, russia and france against them and they survived 4 United countrys against a little part of germany and they kickd there asses napolen himself sayd if frederick 2 was alive to his time he had no chanche. In the napoleonic wars the prussians even were the reason napolen was deafeted. And with great war you mean ww1 i think but even there france, britan,italy, belgium and USA and if the USA would not joind the germans would have easy won. You really need to learn some history🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️
