I used to have very thick naturally curly hair but now I’m in my mid 40’s and having hormone issues and PCOS diagnosis for the last 15 years I have gradually lost hair and in the last few years I’ve been losing my hair in huge clumps causing multiple bald spots. I am going to take your advice in this video but I am wondering if you might have any more advice tips for getting my hair healthier and growing back? I’m at the point where I’m looking at wigs, or hairpieces because I’m tired of wearing bandanas to try and cover my bald spots and control the curly frizzy sprigs of hair I have left. Thank you for your videos! I love them! 🙏💓

So sorry that’s hard, I know hormones can totally mess with hair. Did you talk to ur doc about bald spots and clumps to make sure it’s not alopecia? But yes using these tips can’t hurt it will help keep what you have and future regrowth healthy, best of luck!:)

This is EXACTLY the video I needed! I have thin, curly/wavy hair that is about 40% gray at this point (41 yrs old). I am trying to figure out how to keep it strong and moisturized without weighing it down and looking greasy. Unfortunately I am already doing most of these things including that exact shampoo and argan oil and silk pillowcase. Is gray hair a different animal or what?? I love that you are a stylist who embraces natural products!! ❤

Grey does tend to be alittle dryer as does curly hair, do you feel like it’s breaking a lot?
@o0Shawna0o2 жыл бұрын
@@DrakesNest It is/was breaking and falling out quite a bit. I started taking biotin again about a month ago which seems to be helping a little and my hairdresser said I have lots of new growth coming in on top so I'm hopeful all that I'm doing will get it healthier and stronger.

Rosemary oil, would it be irritating to the scalp if left in all night? I am all silver and white with wee bits of my original brown left. Using a leave in moisturizer for myself is key. I never use heat. Thanks for the video!

Ummm possibly even using rosemary oil I mix just a couple drops into a carrier oil like coconut or sweet almond you don’t want a lot of it

Maybe if you wanted to do over night do just sweet almond or coconut
