Preventing the End of Mythic+ in WoW

please no i wont be able to do all of that, i hate fomo, thats why i play ever class in the game to at least 1800 to get all the elite sets, just in case if i want to main it later on, if i have to do that in pvp and mythic plus im gonna cry ngl.

Yes, this is exactly what we need, ive been top 1% every season with nothing to show for, i quit playing early every season because there is no incentive for me to push beyond that and there is too far up for the 0.1% . So when i get bored of the actual dungeons and gameplay i just play something else until the next season... and i dont know how many more seasons i care too do this way. I hope this video get Blizzards attention... they kind of have the recipe in rated PvP, it would not be allot of work to atleast give us something to strive for like titles along the way, transmogs and mounts. They could also implement soloQ, where you get a group with players around the same rating to eliminate the FOTM problems, this could be another rating than the actualt M+ one, like shuffle in PvP.

The big elephant in the room is at the mechanics, especially of the trash mobs are just too complicated for new and semi casual players so it only caters to dwindling number of skilled and experienced players. A bit hyperbole but not every trash mob in a pack has to have more abilities then some raid bosses requiring coordination and interrupt rotations for random trash.

Agree totally. I think the newest changes in terms of key level scaling and when the affixes come into play will help with that a bit - but definitely needs more work

What mechanics are you talking about? I started playing WoW two months ago and finished at 3k Rio on a DPS and a Healer. Its literally kick and don't stand in shit, how is that complicated?

Just do lower keys, these mechanics only matter at high lvl keys. Let us who want that challenge have it

depending on dungeons,season 3 has the best dung in all Df,season 4 will go down after 2 moths or faster as there are many unliked dung even having the nerf.

I loved your thoughts in this video, particularly your idea for extreme utility based affixes is a really cool idea. And then obviously, m+ has needed a better reward system since its inception. My friends and I blast through +20's every season pretty easily, but then I don't think I'm a 1% player (or whatever the tiny break point is) to go for the title each season but i would like SOME sort of stretch goals. Ohhh it would be kind of cool, how you mentioned getting "saddles" for old m+ mounts, what if you could get "runes" to buy portals from old m+ seasons? I switch toons a lot so being able to buy old portals that I already have on other characters would be nice

Put a currency in the end of dungeon chest for everyone even if the timer is missed so people will be tempted to complete instead of leaving a key.

Add achivements for keys at level say 25/30 or something, transmogs for those levels os something? Add a mount. Make items drop at Max ilvl as atm 489 for going those high keys. Make it more rewarding then just raider io score, incentive and rewards people love that

Great video man. Extra rewards would be nice but the key depletion thing is the most important point. It will allow people to play the higher end of keys without feeling that they are torturing themselves

I feel like having a more streamlined experience with the core dungeon mechanics would be nice and im also pro cosmetic rewards for m+ players. the example you mentioned in the video was a good one (the bar to fill up). Since the dungeon levels are getting squished in season 4 anyway, it's a great time to get rid of the +2/+3 option and just have an "in time" mode.

Rewards are a big Problem, even if its just another Mythic Tier set recolor like PvP players get, everything is better then getting the same Mount every Season but nothing else. Another Option would be Rewards like the MoP/WoD challenge runs with exclusive Weapons or Armor Transmogs

Now that we have several dungeons set up for being Mythic+, we need shorter seasons and more dungeons cycled thru each season. Oh and fucking kill the Incorporeal and Afflicted affixes. Stop putting affixes in the dungeon that just become "oh the healer will deal with it".

I think keep Tyrantanical and Fortified and have the less annoying/ punishing affixes from current M+ 7 keys get rid of all the shit affixes from current +14 and in its place do the kiss curse seasonal affix to add a theme of the season as well and not having every affix be all negative. This will also make affixes not change up Dungeons to much and make you play the affixes instead of the Dungeons. For the season Tyrannical and Fortified and 1 mid level affix is the only changes from week to week and the final affix is changed every season would help alot. We already have Dungeon being rotated for freshness so keys need less changes week to week.

Personally m+ is my favorite thing to do. I feel no matter how great blizzard makes something the community will always complain. Everyone just want things handed to them and then complain about it being handed to them lol.

key rng is a joke in a “skill based achievement. I got 4 30 eb keys in a row. I can time a 30 atal but all I get is eb because of rng

Too much mechanic and affix is bad. Some spec can't even deal with certain affix (looking are you DPS warrior and DK). Don't make negative affix make neutral or positive affix. So if you don't dealt with them nothing happens but if you deal with them you get a positive affect. Class balance is also off in m+ so spec profiles is just way better than others. Too much mechanics I am not playing m+ I am playing world of mechanic or tipy toe.
