UPDATE: Firstly, I recently saw a break where Marie-Philip Poulin does in fact have a Young Guns. But she's not listed on the official checklist. That would mean she is unannounced as a YG. Secondly, as a few have acknowledged, new products take significant time to develop. Because the league is new, the official logos were not announced until September 2024. It has the pwhl logo instead of the team logo because the teams didn't have names or logos until this year. It's a bit confusing they're calling this a 24/25 product since every single card and player will be from the 23/24 season.

There are numbered parallels, outbursts, and other inserts with the packs. It's not just a base set. The first 50 cards are base cards, the next 20 are YG's. UD only signed licence agreement with PWHL a year ago and it takes time for them to be able to put together a product, not to mention team names and logos weren't announced at that point and only one season's worth of jerseys available, most of which were auctioned off and or players bought, so not a ton of availability. Autographs will come in future sets however, they still need agreements with the majority of players in order to make it happen.

Oh man. I am absolutely going to buy a box! I watched way more PWHL than NHL last year haha. If you haven't given them a watch do it. It's good hockey. If you have a daughter even better!

It is going to be a fun set. But it seems like Upper Deck was confused on which designs and format they wanted to use. 12 packs of 6 cards for $90 with 3 YGs. That's really steep. Unless there are numbered parallels flying out of this, best if collector wait for the price to come down. I collect NWSL, and Parkside tries to put a good amount of low numbered cards and autographs to drive interest for the fanbase. Hopefully, UD follows this as this would make a lot of the young collector happy.

The logos were announced months after this product was created the product is about 6 months or more old.
