I just rewatched s1-5. Then i had access to 3 ep of s11. Good grief Nathan is poorly written compared to Jack Thornton. No comparison. Nothing about that current relationship for Elizabeth is exciting. Insipid

During s6-8 there was a romantic triangle between Elizabeth, Nathan and Lucas (the current governor, but he wasn't the governor during that time). Lucas was well writed, just like Jack. But people for some reason prefered Nathan, so she chosed him and left Lucas. That's why de series lost it soul.

Elizabeth and Nathan are definitely boring the writers are repeating scenes that were already done with Lucas that's How Dull this Mountie is he doesn't even do any Mountie action at All

@@arleneisenberg4996 There’s nothing boring about Nathan and Elizabeth. They’ve always had that invisible string connecting their hearts and souls. Elizabeth ran from fear of another great love like she had with Jack to Lucas (who always knew how she felt about Nathan). Their love story is just beginning. She was never in love with Lucas, never.

Absolutely, I agree with you. Nathan, in the first few episodes of season 11 is quite unlikeable....and for the remainder of season 11 he does not improve.

@@agnaldoneto5609 Absolutely!! And in my opinion, for all of season 11 there was still more soul in the friendship between Lucas and Elizabeth than there was in the silly, superficial romance between Nathan and Elizabeth.

Good for you. I don't see anything in this preview that vaguely piques my interest. I'm not planning to watch season 12. Season 10 and 11, WCTH went contrary to everything they profess to stand for and wrote an awful story in seasons 10 and 11. All the characters I had grown to love turned either into villains or into awful, ungrateful, self-serving, unkind people. I don't see any indication that they are repairing the story, so unless and until I see some indication of an attempt to repair the story, I am done.
