Don't have it in rotation enough or at all for exposure. So people can discover it. But the movie is not that great and hasn't aged well. But it is still an enjoyable classic a Black super hero and should be seen. But it about notaried and exposure and not IQ .

And to be fair. It was the 90s. A lot of film then had a fairly comedic tone. Things didn’t start getting much darker until the 2000s. Still a great a film; and great representation/identify for young black kids growing up needing to see a super hero that actually looked like them. He made this movie because it hurt him deeply knowing that POC kids only had white super heroes to look up to, but didn’t always feel comfortable dressing up as. I would love a more grounded reboot of this, using today’s VFX and storytelling. I would also want no one other than Mr. Townsend directing it. It could be a bit of a grittier tone as well. Just putting that out into the universe 😉
