There are a couple of reasons for this in the 6 Nations some evening games happen usually in France and Wales, this is the first Friday night game in Dublin and is also going to help New Zealand insomnia...Irish games in Dublin are almost always played at 2.15 pm ,4.45pm or 3pm on Sunday, odd times but a very simple reason here English Premier league football something New Zealand teams never ever have to plan for,advertising, marketing and prime time, it's a different market to New Zealand totally

Bit annoying the main event of the autumn is the first match of the first proper week. Starting off with a bang i suppose! Its a must win game for Ireland imo. Their best team ever losing at home to a weaker-than-average ABs with all the surrounding context and bad blood would be absolutely crushing imo.

if you type in rugby ranking calculator it lets you fiddle around with upcoming games and shows you the result ranking wise. If abs beat ireland 21-14 (generic score I put in) then SA go to #1, NZ #2 and ireland to #3. If scotland then beat the boks, then nz go to #1. Lets gooooooooo. Lets not forget, england just beat ireland.

@@Wildkard I am surprised., because he played last weekend against Munster v All Black IV team. No internationals were allowed to play by the Irish team. Also he had after the last 6 Nations game waved goodbye to the fans on the last game in the Aviva and did go the South Africa tour as it was part of end of season IRFU contract. It must have been an emergency call up. He has no contract with the IRFU, only with Munster for this season.
