Hello, Joe! When I saw the thumbnail for this video I thought you had gone over to the dark side and previewed a video game.Whew! What a relief to see it was a board game. Unpopular opinion, I like the look of Race to the Rhine more. The simple map and wooden counters had a nice aesthetic to them

Not having the game (or even heard of it), I can't really make an informative comment. However from first impressions, thanks to your video Joe, the game isn't for me; just seems too "messy". Now some people might well like the game. If so good luck to them. As an aside, I couldn't help but notice you have a copy of "1914". Not a game you play too often, I'm thinking....

Moscow is "MOCKBA" on the map--the Russian name and lettering ("Moskva"). All the other places are written in Latin letters.

sorry to be the one who mentioned this: To take Brest, germans must spend one medal, in addition to required supply. A simple mistake, but historically Brest garrison kept fighting for over 2 months despite being completely cut off. Thats the resason why city was honored with Hero of Soviet Union medal during the war.

You never have to spend a medal. But indeed you need to spend an extra ammo upon entering Brest. Unless you are using air support, in case of a bad luck your Army can lose the combat.

ok so comment not about this but channel generally - lots of political videos in the various playlists - it this intentional ? if so disappointing this can’t be done in a separate forum

Mark. Can you tell me in what playlist do political videos appear? The only playlists I have are wargame-related and contain the videos I make, none of which are political, just about wargaming.

@@StukaJoe CDC and gadgets and there were at least a couple of others. One list yesterday seemed like it had more political ones than anything else. To be clear I am not agreeing with the politics or not but it seemed a bit off. Maybe you channel was hacked or the settings and you own save stuff is not hidden or something? Seems a bit odd.

@@HvonC I just checked the playlists I uploaded and you're right. I don't know how the political and other non-wargaming related videos got there. Sorry about that. I went now through each of the playlists and removed all videos that have nothing to do with wargaming. Thanks for the heads up and sorry about this glitch.
