Idk if you've ever drawn someone before but it requires a lot of visual concentration, yaknow, looking at the paper and the thing you're drawing, I get how he could completely lose her multiple times

Not everyone can afford babysitting or has a good social network and he probably struggles to give her the bare essentials, so she gets to go with him to work so that he gets to keep feeding and clothing her. The theme of Squid Game. And the Triangle woman is obviously highly intelligent and capable and a hospital can't keep track of everyone everywhere. It can have a really robust security system, but will still let perceived family members roam. It wouldn't be practical to check everyone everywhere all the time, and the dad was obviously only stepping out for a moment so not discuss the severity of the condition or situation in the presence of his kid.
