Very good run dude, GG! Minor stuff to clean up and you're good to go for sub 11, but this is one of those routes that you could optimise the shit out of and at some point it's questionable whether it's worth it or not.

Can you possibly hess through the boulder of dodongos cavern entrance?

No but you can clip through it by jumping down from above in the right way. Unfortunately that doesn't save any time.

Why does crossing the floor in Dodongo's Cavern take you to the final battle?, it doensn't make any sense xD

It's a very long and difficult explanation that I'm working on a video for. But the short answer is that we do a glitch to create a loading zone ourselves and we can control where it goes!

Nice! Any idea why a flower appears at 1:27 as you are running backwards?

It's part of a business scrub, not 100% sure why it happens but that point it appears at is the origin of the coordinate system. Something related to the scrub not being fully initialized yet I'd guess.

Question… I’ve speed ran lots of games. Done set up to get the right angles etc…. If this is WR would you consider trying a “non setup” method where you find a few second faster setup when leaving lost woods. I know angles and stuff are important to get that clip, but I also am super optimistic in my runs in games and always try and find something that saves time. I know getting runs in is important by having reliable set ups. But just wanted to throw it out there that maybe there’s a better sweet spot that saves a second or two and you just send it. It’s at the beginning of the run so there’s at least that convenience

Yeah that is a thing already and some people do it. I just started to learn it, and I'll put it in my runs soon.

Great run! Just wondering warping to a map with an entrance that activated the credits is not possible with this, even even if you chain multiple maps?

Yeah unfortunately not. Triggering a cutscene involves additional parameters on top of the destination map, but this glitch can only control the map itself.

@@dannyb21892 I don't quite understand all of this glitch, but could you chain this with Ghomas or King Dodongos room and use the blue warp to credit warp? If it needs OI you could even get beans and bombs pretty quick. For bomb OI. Could still be faster than killing Ganon and would be a lot faster for TAS. just wondering if it would be possible.

The crafting loop is very cool and worth it, but I truly hated exploring the biome and fighting the enemies there. Happy to talk about it more after you're done, but I hope you enjoy it more than I did!

Here is what non speedrunners see: Oh he's pretty quick. What, how did he swim into the... Whatever. Wait a minute, he did it again with the well? WHY IS HE PAUSING SO MUCH... AND WHY IS HE OUT OF BOUND! I can't take this anymore. Casually walking through the gate, getting into the cavern. Alright what wizardry is he doing. What kind of VooDoo ritual is he doing? Huh um... HUH? WHY ARE WE AT GANNON! AND HOW ARE WE STILL A CHILD? HE'S KILLIN HIM WITH STYLE!

The neat part that I found when I looked into ganonfloor and all the research people were doing to make it viable, is that they're not (or weren't) even sure why it works themselves.

@@joope125 yeah I've heard about accidentally discovering a wrong warp in dodongo's cavern, but you have to get there first, which takes a lot of steps in cutting corners.

@@joope125 it's very well understood! You might be confusing that with the fact that the initial discovery was made partially by accident, but still with the knowledge that this was a possible outcome :)
