Sad that we are so used to complete garbage that when an "OK" movie comes along everyone acts like it's the greatest thing ever.

Why does no one care how stupid the head to head fight was? In the original Predator what is supposed to be the ultimate bad ass gets his ass whooped by the Predator and he has to resort to primitive traps to win. In the new one there is none of that...theres a head to head fight with a lucky sort of element in the end with the homing arrows. That fight scene in the end was kinda dumb. But the rest of the movie was great.

The movie makes it seem like its the first time the predator comes to earth but I'm fairly certain in one of the other Predator films they talk about how the Predators came to Earth and how the Mayan's worshiped them as Gods. I'm no historian but I'm pretty sure the Mayans predate the French coming to North America with guns. ;)

I believe you’re referring to AVP. That movie mentions stuff with the Mayans. But I think most people are totally fine with retconning that movie haha

Why is everyone on about this film. IT WASN’T THAT GOOD. The color grading was wrong, the pacing was poor, the feral predator was “okay” and the plot had potential but was predictable. C minus

It was pretty good, would definitely not call it the best. The one thing I really didn't like was how the pred died, it's like he hadn't read the manual to his own equipment.

Just watched it. Highly recommend the Comanche dub. I thought it was fantastic. Easily the best predator film since the first. I do miss the og predator design but other than that this movie is awesome and the design they went with was still dope.

Predator did some cool stuff in Prey, but I felt it was a little too showy. For me, its still a tie between Predator 2 and Predators for best sequel. I like both of those movies more than most people.

@@joseywales1214 It's basically the first movie with slightly different setup, perhaps a guilty pleasure since its such a rehash. I enjoyed it more than Prey.. I never once felt the girl was in any kind of danger, so that kinda ruins things for me.

First was the best. This was a bit to woke for me. Couldn't kill the cat, but was able to kill the predator?

But she did though. She just hit her head on a rock. If she didn’t kill the cat or at least hurt it, she would have been killed by it. Also, just because the lead is a woman doesn’t mean it’s woke.

@@eschott She went against her village and due to her actions got a bunch of warriors killed. Those warriors were killed, because they went in search of her. She had the shot when her brother was being killed, but froze? She became a hero to the village, but at what cost. Too woke.

For me, it’s 1. Predator 2. AVP 3. Prey. Comanches speaking perfect English took me out of it a bit. Also, a big plot hole for me is that the predator continues to fire his darts at his prey even though his targeting helmet is knocked off and he’s clearly missing. Like, for an apex predator of the cosmos it’s a pretty dumb thing to shoot those darts without his targeting system

I've only seen 3 of them in the past few days but my ranking would be Predator > Prey > Predators. I saw predators this morning and thought it felt like I was watching Tropic Thunder. The use of multiple predators kind of diluted the character imo. Prey's story was ok but they did a good job portraying the predator and making him actually seem scary as opposed to in Predators. But if I'm being honest, none of them are nearly as good as the original, which was just decent but not amazing.
