It was a fresh take on the franchise. Prey made the Predator feel like an overwhelming threat. And the act of killing it meant and felt like a huge pay-off because it also accomplished something on the side.

In all honesty. We need a Predator film set in feudal Japan with Hiroyuki Sanada pursuing a Predator in an epic revenge tale. And it needs that big fight feel to it. It sounds like money to me.
