Greetings everyone! I'm glad you all enjoyed my latest Night Lords story. This is a prequel story set millennia before the events to the main story in Preysight parts 1 & 2. I wanted to focus on Captain Thalac in this one, as well as touch on his and Zvakka's relationship prior to Zarr and the gradual corruption of their warband. I've decided Preysight will work best as a series of episodic stories; this way I can focus on different characters during different time periods. But I do want to write other SM tales, not just Night Lords, so I can't say when the next Preysight story will be written. Still, I hope this one was worth the wait. A big thank you to Carla Mack as Shipmistress Lezrytha (she sounded perfect!), and Vox once more for his peerless narrating skills. Until next time, Ave Dominus Nox! ~ T.T

I think your style would lend well for the legions/chapters that seemingly have little to no humanity like the Alpha Legion or the Iron Warriors. At least that's what I really like about your work. No memes, only tragedy in a grim dark future.

Yet another amazing tale, Tod! I love how much depth these characters are developing! And my boi Vath doing what he does best: Being an absolute badass by existing alone. I've also liked your other stories in this channel, so anything you do gets an instant like from me. And OFC, we cannot forget Paul's and Carla brilliant performances. BTW, Paul... Now that it is fresh in your memory... What is the name of the track that sounds at the begining? I know it is the same one as Preysight Part I, but I've been trying to find it in Epidemic Sound, to no avail. Thanks in advance!

That is literally what happened - M'shen(?) was being watched on visual feeds by the night lords who realllly wanted to kill her but were oathbound. She found Kurze, Kurze felt completely vindicated - she beheaded him and was on her way out with his head before one of the NOT CAPTAINS (I forget his name AND FIXED IT) persued and killed her, betraying kurze's last wish after his death.

Most excellent! Even though I’ve heard this story before (through lore mainly) knew what was coming, knew how The Night Haunter met his end, hearing the raw emotion of his final son to arrive, picturing in my mind a son being drug away from his father and told he’s no longer his son when all he wants to do is save him from death, utterly heart wrenching. Hearing it told like this really brought the “human” side to the forefront, great narration to a great story!

I just wanted to say how much your stories remind me of being in the military again. It doesn’t take a trans human super soldier to know what his teammates boot strikes sound like, how they smell, how to pick up there subtle cues, how they are feeling by sight only, what they are thinking and so on. The right Humans are more than capable of understanding those things. When you spend years upon years no more than 5 feet from your brothers there is a psychic tether between your minds. Years of training, fighting, laughing, and sharing every moment with them builds a bond no one can understand. Your lover doesn’t even know as well as your battle brother does. It makes me tear up sometimes in your videos to feel that again. Just keep gav and bob going forever. That’s my only want from you besides merch.

Ive been listening to your audios recently. You’ve outdone yourself with this one. The Author as well with the writing. I can’t put my finger on it exactly, but this story was somehow the saddest or deepest of all the stories I have listened to so far. Although its “just” about two astartes returning to their primarch, the loneliness, the betrayal (real or not) and despair felt very real to me, more than in any other story. I don’t know, this one hit deeper, more depressing. On a meta level, I also liked the theme of the father forsaking or leaving his sons, and the utter destruction in each astartes caused by him abandoning by his sons. 10/10 great work.

Another amazing Night Lords piece of work! I've said it before and I'll keep saying it while it's true - you do the best Night Lord voice work. Most people overdo it and they sound like a mustache twirling villain that's always one piano riff away from tyinh a helpless woman to train tracks. You give them depth and even convey their conflict and last shreds of dignity. Now, bearing all of these compliments, can you PLEASE give us a story focused on the Carcharadons? Maybe in a situation involving them and the Minotaurs? Tyberos vs Asterion Moloc?

Awesome! The first I heard from you was one of the Preysight videos. Night Lords are so antagonistic it always makes for great dialogue. Really enjoy the atmosphere you achieve with these.
