I use to have a great theories about a stock and watch it for a few days before it fell off my radar, only to do a nightly scan a week later and see it broke out (from right where I thought it would) for +12% without me in it (similar to what you mentioned in the video). Bonus tip for beginners: Create Alerts. If you see one of the patterns Shay teaches so well setting up, put an alert in. Being right in a play isn't just about price; Timing is key. Alerts will help keep things on your radar and probably show you that you're right more often than you think.

I am a macro investor and typically don't give a flip about day trading but because of my macro view in this market, I've started shorting any piece of junk that sticks it's head up. Fidelity is my broker and they did not have any shares of BBBY or AMC for me to short the other day. UUGGGHHHH! My timing would have been perfect for that massive beat down. ....oh well...
