Adam my mom knew my dad was molesting me from age 3 until i was 15. i told her when i was a little girl and she let it happen. When i had a daughter she told me she knew what my dad did to me and that my husband will do the same thing to my daughter. At the age of 50 i got therapy and asked her why she let it happen. i asked why she didn’t kill him bc that’s what i would’ve done! i lived with shame all my life bc of this abuse. When i came out with the abuse my sisters and brothers wanted to keep it quiet and made sure i was left out of my mother’s will. It has been very hurtful and i have forgiven all of them. i now have God in my life and doing the best i can. My heart goes out to JB and pray he gets the therapy he needs.
