Hi T Mike! You have a great channel....watching makes me want to get back into small outboard boating. In the early 1980's, I worked summers as a repair technician on Evinrude and Johnson outboards, the smaller ones like you feature. Every tune up included a new head gasket. I was told that leaking head gaskets caused rough running at low speeds. I see you do not include a head gasket replacement on tune up repairs...I would love to hear your thoughts on this please....THANK YOU, GREAT WORK AND VERY CLEAR TEACHING STYLE !!!Mark C.

I have a 1975 Orlando Clipper 19 ft. with a 125 Thunder bolt not to sure about the year . Runs pretty good needs work your full restoration looks good to me. I'm also looking to restore the boat itself do you have any suggestions.

Extremely fair, especially considering the huge amount of shady " mechanics" out there who would charge you an arm and a leg for pretty close to anything minor. In many cases what we pay is the price of no knowing and they are happy to keep us all that way.
