ASMR stands for AUTONOMOUS SENSORY MERIDIAN RESPONSE and refers to a tingling sensation often accompanied by a calming, pleasurable feeling. This tingle is said to originate in a person’s head and spread to the spine and limbs in response to said stimulation. The stimuli that trigger ASMR vary from person to person. Some of the most common ASMR triggers include soft voices and whispers, crinkling, white noise, hand movements, and we hope softly spoken references to old baseball players and other sports figures. Visual stimuli and experiences are also possible via hand movements, personal attention, and, again, hopefully going through a pack of sports cards.
I've been using ASMR for years to calm myself, focus, and relax. I hope you can find some benefit from these ASMR videos... or at least appreciate my knowledge of 1980s baseball.
