Hello sir I have one doubt in option part profit for call option. Max(0,ST-X)- premium This above formulae is at maturity But if before Maturity Max(0,St-Pv of (X))- premium is the profit for call option before maturity Is this correct or The profit would be Max(0,St-PV of (X))+ remaining TVM - premium is the profit before maturity I am getting confused in before maturity scenario as at maturity TVM would be 0 so it would not impact the equation… Please solve this doubt !

Why would you need this? The Curriculum just talks about the value of the option at a point in time. Don't worry about the profit.
