To me, Jennifer Ehle will always be the quintessential Elizabeth across all P&P films and TV adaptations. It also includes all the Jane Austen fan-fiction on P&P written to date.....totally, completely, and incandescently!

Для меня аккуратная , чистенькая , ухоженная девочка Лиззи (Дженифер) понятнее для зарождения ,а потом и безумная любовь мистера Дарси - Колина гораздо понятнее и реальнее , чем неухоженная , помятая , с растрёпанный головой кухарки Лиззи в исполнении Киры Найтли.Хотя Дарси тоже хорош!

Jane Austen , wonderful woman. Austen died a spinster. I don't think Mr Darcy is just a fictional character. Jane Austen modelled Mr Darcy on someone she loved, on someone she was enamored with. She carried, nourished emotions in her bosom, subdued emotions, love, pain, unfulfilled desire and longing
