@Edmond&Mercedes she does physically attract him. He had only had a small glance at her when he said that line about not being handsome enough to tempt him. After criticising her with his friends for a while though, he started seeing some really attractive features on her. He couldn't help admiring her eyes or her figure. You're right though, it was because of her personality that he was attracted to her. But in a way like.. Like, he found her eyes beautiful because of the intelligence reflected in them.. He found her figure light and pleasing..reflecting her playful nature. It was that he liked those features of her because they were closely entwined with her personality.. basically she was the epitome aesthetic for her kind of personality. But when Darcy had made those observations, he hadn't actually talked to her. Only seen her talking to others. Of course liked those traits because of the personality they reflected but those are at the end, physical traits, so Darcy did start with being physically tempted towards her.

Pride and Prejudice: a story about how an introverted guy is completely misjudged by everyone and learns to flirt
@angelwhispers20602 жыл бұрын
And also gets over his arrogance, Pride and prejudice against her family. To be fair the letter he gives her after the failed proposal is like let me explain some s*** about how your family acts because apparently you haven't figured this out yet. And after all the awkward b******* about her family is acknowledging she's like yeah they kind of suck. Then he works on his manners probably get some tips from Bingley. Then He goes about fixing all the things he has screwed up and then he can propose to her without it being a problem. I kind of love how her telling Lady Catherine to go stuff herself and if Darcy wants her then fine it's her choice to take him. That this is finally the inciting incident for him to say what he means XD I mean let's face it everyone has that pesky interfering relative or close friend's relative who would totally pull this b******* and that's why it's still relatable hundreds of years later.
