This kind of video may feel repetitive if you're doing it every year but I really do think it's some of the most beneficial content for new people interested in watches and it's worth spending time talking about what's going on with each brand.

Lange / Moritz Grossman both make watches that in simple am in love with. Put the Swiss movement finishing to shame with their old school pocket watch style German movements and the dial’s are pretty perfect. However Lange is the type of company that will make a huff and puff just if you ask for a deployment instead of a pin buckle at their boutique. I’ve noticed them getting snobbier and snobbier each year and while the watches are next level amazing I think Niko ranks more the brand overall

Nico was referring to Jacob & Co, so apparently Jacob Arabo is caught up in the Sean Combs situation with "freak offs". Specifically, one of the lawsuits against Combs, filed by Adria English at the beginning of July, lists Arabo as a co-defendent, as he was one of the people who had s3x with her as she was trafficked by Combs at one of his parties. Super gross if true. What's weird about this story is that the lawsuit was filed over 3 months ago, but there is absolutely no mention of it in the watch world. No articles on the news sites, nothing here on Reddit, nothing on KZbin. I don't know if this news never got to the watch world in the first place, or people just don't want to talk about it. In fact, "Producer Michael" (who looks like my grandma) has made 1 or 2 KZbin videos with Jacob after the lawsuit was filed.
