Bought this small mutimeter to check whether the coil pack that I purchased to repair my 2 stoke engine was working or not. Not being electrically minded I was not sure what I was doing was correct so unsure the results were correct. This video explained so sicincly the operation of this small device and I now feel confident that I can use this for this purpose and around the house when necessary. Very well done Priest. Excellent ++

It can test continuity too via diode or resistance test. If theree a short the far left digit will show 1. 0 and up you have continuity.

DO NOT MEASURE AC VOLTAGE WITH IT! i tried that with the same multimeter just now and there was a big pop and a tiny bit of smoke, im glad i used a surge protector

Maybe you measure current at that time. Mine was on current mode and what left is the same as yours. Measuring ac voltage is fine.

You need to select 500 ac or 750 ac on youre multimeter not dc its imposible to smoke i measure ac voltage with this and it was ok

Mine (exactly the same model) doesn't do the continuity test even in this way. Even directly putting together the 2 leads won't change the reading, which is always "1". I wish they made that clear in the [rpduct description.

When I connect the lead to a battery using ACV 200(I know ACv is not for batteries), it shows a reading. . .Is this somewhat related to mah? With each battery's readings showing just above what the battery spec says on the label...?

In India These Chinese Multimeter 830 D costs around less than 2 Dollars With 9v battery included.

read on battery voltage must be 1.5 v if 1 volt it mean its used

for some reason mine keeps showing 1V every time... I am trying to test a battery for ps5 gamepad and on all of them it says 1 under any volt settings, I also tried normal 1.5v fully charged battery, it said 1, then I tried dead battery 1.5v and it said 1 again...
