I hauled salt from this mine back in the early 2000's. Looks alot different now than it did back then.

It would be, but that only makes sense if the excavator has a quick coupler. Usually PDI does have Oilquick on their machines, but on this job, the two machines didn‘t have it.

@@tim19621 The salt mine under Lake Peigneur had been there since 1919, until a drilling rig punctured the floor of the lake in 1980. Longevity is no guarantee of safety.
