I have been a stamper for literally over 20 years and yet I don't color- I mean i HAVE colored, but it isn't my favorite or best technique- so it is interesting and fun to watch you show different techniques and to see a finished card that is so fun to look at. You called this a first impression and it is, but in 2015 KZbin speak I would call that an in-depth analysis. Everyone thinks a review today is open the box, show the product and maybe swipe it for "swatches" and give an opinion. I love that you tried different things-you found that the pencils don't seem to be pigmented equally and you tried water brush vs. traditional brush vs. dipping pencils in water...you showed us all of that and I appreciate that. I am sure you will come back later and talk more but this was definitely a helpful video and I feel like someone could make an informed decision about whether to purchase these from this video. Oh, and while the deflated balloon is funny, listening to you crack yourself up was more fun.

Wow, I really appreciate that you showed us how you went through the process of using this new set of pencils! I don't think I would ever really do that but you have inspired me to do it. Which in the long run will help me learn to use products in different ways, and what works best for me. Many time I watch these types of videos and them attempt to do exactly what I saw, which doesn't usually give me the same look. YOU have impressed upon me to try to find my comfort zone which will give me what I am trying to find. Thank you so much! I must also say you are the person who made it OK for me to add hand written or drawn things to my cards which make it personally mine and perfect for the individual I am creating the card for. You have helped me SO MUCH to find my own style. You are so talented and have helped me to feel like I have a bit of talent also. Again thank you so much!

Kristina, loved your video, extremely helpful and instructive! I think your comment about the look of the birds was/is hilarious too. I don't think tim h. is known for his cute and cuddly work... :) One thing I noticed when you stamped that party hat bird though, is that it could be a fish -- if you masked off the legs! It opens up a whole new world of stamping opportunities I think. You were partially off camera with it and I thought you had a different stamp set going! I LOVE what you did with the party hat and deflated balloon though. Very creative!

Did anyone notice her beautiful handwriting besides me? It is so perfect it looks like it was stamped. I'm in the market for new watercolor pencils and this video helped a lot. I've been using economical pencils for quite some time. While they do the job, I would like to invest in some better quality ones and it seemed like these are really good ones. Great tutorial! I have all these Tim Holtz stamps and some prima watercolor pencils. I love both. What I don’t hAve is your writing. Girl, u should sell your handwriting font, and personally I can’t draw a straight line let alone a row of words and that was pretty perfect. That last card was so awesome. I loved it . I also wanted to just say that you have a great voice for videos. It’s relaxing, but not boring, and it’s very clear yet soft. Thanks for a great tutorial!
