7:56 Eclipse if you are reading this, I recommend you make a glider to prevent those situations where you are super high and theres no way to get back down without losing a bunch of health. You can find the recipe with the recipe button. Its at the top left of the screen when you open up your inventory. Good Luck on Duke and the other bosses that you will eventually encounter hopefully. (P.S - I went and played Rogue Lineage for the first time which is the game that came before Deepwoken and BOY ITS PAINFUL... If you ever do a video on rogue lineage, play it with your friends. Solo prog is nearly impossible unless you A. Wiki it or B. You had died and wiped over 1000 times and you mapped out what you known from your past lives.)

You may not remember but a glider recipe actually requires a quest to be done so he may not have the recipe yet. The quest can be found in the same cavern where you get the Aerial Assault Talent, right above the mudskipper cave.

even if you know everything about rogue, solo prog is still genuinely impossible for it rn. you will literally be observed and gated to no matter what you are, but especially if you have any kind of armor or different weapon; you will have to swap servers multiple times just to move a little bit; if eclipse were to review it, he would undoubtedly call it worse than deepwoken and type soul combined.

alr eclipse if you see a deep owl feather falling from the sky and go to it a deep owl will spawn and it will face you and start a dialouge. then you have to face it and it will follow your character, what you must not do is to look away as as soon as you look away then it will become hostile so long story short just keep on facing it. edit: few more notes always use enforcer crit whenever cuz the crit is really broken and dishes out so much damage and when in ragdoll press right click to insta cancel the ragdoll and get back up again more quickly.

Issue is void walkers arent the only PvP origin. Every origin is a PvP origin now since a void walker teleports 30 meters from you and there is no way to prevent that. Chime of conflict already exists there’s no real reason to have some random guy able to force anyone he wants to play PvP. Imagine if there was an origin which just forced you to do the void trial unavoidably whenever someone in the server decides to. In short void walkers just take away player agency and I’m 90% sure they exist purely to get people to pay robux to unwipe their power 20 accounts

The worst part is that Voidwalkers can teleport to players 4 levels under them. That means a level 20 with bell and full oath using a metamancer build can jump a level 16 who doesn’t even have their main weapon yet.

Good job 🤘 primadon for me is pretty smooth once u get the hang of it but like, he's prolly the most punishing boss out of all with that damage. Which is why I do not play with specifically him lol, especially when he's the only boss in this game that u have to fight on an open server. You were lucky that you didn't get some greasy assholes join your server and kill u because u posed a treat to their possible legendary weapon drop. (Pyre keeper😭) But yo just some advice/suggestions for bosses to fight if u come back and decide to fight all bosses, I reccomend fighting ferryman first. Hes definitely the most forgiving boss out of all of em and I would say he's, THE boss for new players. Just a suggestion tho, duke erisia's cool and does teach how to parry trade a LOT but he's got sumn bullshit in his arsenal with like 2 attacks being a gamble whether or not they detect that u rolled , and kaido's a joke lol. Just some suggestions tho, love ur vids mane ❤️ can't wait to see that layer 2 retry too.

15:18 If you climb to the top of Primadon at the entrance, you can get into the cliffs and place a guild spot. Some of the cliffs are considered Aratel Sea (the area isn't zoned correctly), so they are considered safe by the game to place guild bases on. You can get up there by climbing the wall next to the log at the entrance and climbing up from there. Additionally it's a good idea to hop Primadon, people like to gank there since the loot is so good and so many people farm there. Best of luck to you in Deepwiki

You can spawn guild bases (using the chime of dwelling) that are able to be used as parkour footholds. For instance, when you were stuck for a bit at 8:21 spawning a guild base door on the wall would allow you to restore your jumps and then some. Edit: Also, there's glider tech where if you aerial attack right before deploying your glider you fall down normally but the fall damage is mitigated (make sure to not have too much airtime though as you'll ragdoll and stuff).

I'm just watching your videos now, as someone who quit Deepwoken a while ago (but is for some reason still keeping up with updates) Your experience is legit so relatable. I played since release, didn't get a max level build until like 4 months before the release of layer 2, I didn't even ever BEAT layer 2, never once got a legendary weapon. eclipse i know you probably didnt know, but if your stuck on a high cliff theres only one way to get off. you need a glider. you can get it from spending echoes or buying it off merchant ships. you can also craft it at a crafting bench.

Hey, eclipse, about the early game problem you addressed earlier in another video, the devs really seem to be improving the guidance of the game over the last few updates. They added quest markers to the minimap, some indicators on your screen for very early players, and even a short cutscene to when you first enter the depths, hinting you on how to escape. Sometimes it’s really nice to see developers of a game dealing with an active issue.

6:30 when this happens, you can stare at the owl with shiftlock and if you will get out of its agro range then it will just stand there, waiting for the next victim, but leaving you alone (also there are particles of feathers falling down in some places, if you walk into them then this encounter happens)

The deep owl did not attack you immediately because he was waiting for you to turn around. Owls that spawn directly in the depths and the one in the lordsgrove do not wait for you to lower your guard and instead attack you immediately. This info can be a lifesaver as you can avoid fighting owls by walking backwards while staring at them until you're out of their sight.

Deepwoken is a bowl of tremendous size. However, this bowl does not have much structural integrity. The bowl is riddled with cracks, tears and breaks, yet still standing strong. Many other bowls are honed to perfection before revealed, but this bowl is still in the making. Perhaps we will be able to see this bowl reach its perfect form. Perhaps it will crumble to ceramic dust by some calamity. But it truly is a bowl with a story behind it. Though many throw down the bowl after losing all of their soup, and many simply do not have the spoon big enough to eat from such a bowl, Deepwoken remains one of the bowls of all time.

About the owl not fighting you immediately: If you see feathers then that means its a fresh owl, you have to go into the feathers to interact with it. If you keep your character looking straight at the owl and just hold S to back off far enough, the owl wont attack you, but if you turn your back or attack it then it will fight you.

Fun fact, if your able to no hit any of the boss solo in the game you get a special talent that you keep even if you wipe that boost your damage vs any PVE enemy. (BTW you really need to craft a glider to be safe from all these fall lol OR use the wind mantra element and get the special wind talent that make you able to glide using magic by holding space while falling without the needed of crafting one)

Hey eclipse, There's actually a item you can craft so you don't have to deal with high falls. If you go to a crafting bench, (Easier if you use a guild base to do it, as you might run around for a hot minute trying to look for it.) You can use 2 sticks and 2 cloth or 2 sticks and 2 megalodaunt hide to craft a Glider/Sharkskin Glider(Sharkskin uses the megalodaunt hide). The glider has less uses while the sharkskin glider has significantly many more. Good luck on duke btw, me and my friend actually managed to duo duke pretty easily by him beating the shield off him and then during phase 2 we just mercilessly beat him in a corner, guardbreaking him..over and over..and over..and over, hearing the oh so sweet sound of the guard break and blood proc happening again and again as we beat him within his own home..

i have some advice for you: 1. if you need to climb something really high use the guild base method. climb up as high as you can, hold s for 0.1s then place it. climb back up to it and you can climb off it because it acts as a surface. 2. deep owls spawn when you see floating feathers, and unless the feathers are already triggered it won't spawn in. walking into the feathers triggers it, and it doesn't attack as long as you don't look at it. 3. the deepwoken community will kill you the next time you don't show the loot. this is no joke.

Deep Owls talk to you when they spawn near you, so an already spawned owl will just attack you right away insted of talking and giving you a chance to run away. And yes, you can survive from that encounter without fighting if you just keep looking at the owl and back away and hide behind any wall.
