The Chevron is one of the biggest design flaws holding many ppl back from buying PA scopes. They are often not even in consideration due to the Chevron, in what would otherwise be a purchase from them. Dropping it from their scope lineup entirely would be a huge boost to their sales. People just want a dot/crosshair In their aiming point.

It’s not a change from a chevron, it has it’s place for fast acquisition and precision, chevrons have been used in combat more then anything, I designed this particular reticle to maintain .1 mils and in order to do that a dot is better suited, for fast illumination a chevron is superior to a 5 moa dot, etched reticles aren’t red dots it’s a different technology needing enough meat to illuminate -Dimitri
@bjornegan64216 күн бұрын
@@XLOGIC-LLC iron sights have been used more than anything, and just because the russians use chevrons and the chevron is what the acog had doesn't mean it's superior, just like the scopes chosen for sniper scopes with mismatching reticles and turrets. i understand you love chevrons and they have some advantages in some situations, like comparing a 5 moa dot to a chevron, but we dont need to make that comparison at all. it doesn't have to be a 5 moa dot, it can be a .1 or .5 or 1 moa dot (even if it cannot be illuminated at that price point, other parts of the reticle can be and we still have a useable fine center aiming point). it can be a fine crosshair with center dot, it can be a lot of other things that are more useful in more situations than a chevron. i have a scope i'd even prefer a chevron in over what it has, a really thick center crosshair. but instead of replacing that with a chevron, even though a chevron is better, i want it replaced with a fine center dot or very fine center crosshair. the LPVOs picked by SMUs aren't perfect, and just because they are used by them doesn't mean that's a valid point, but they dont use chevrons.

There’s no reason this can’t be accomplished, and I see comments about this on all of your videos. March produces a 1.5-15 scope that measures 10 inches, so why can’t any American companies create a compact 2-12 scope at 8 inches? I haven’t seen anyone asking for a 2-20 in the comments; people are consistently requesting a compact 2-12 scope. I’m sure most of us would’ve preferred a 1.5-15 10inch March alternative over this 2-20.

@@PrintAimGame The NX8 1-8 line is only usually 16% more when they're at full price when compared to the PLxC 1-8. I have to imagine it will be the same for this. And NF is much higher quality than most other scopes in general. The 1-8 PLxC beat the NX8 by being shorter, lighter, and arguably having a better reticle. The 2.5-20 NX8 has the same length, is lighter, comes from a more reputable company, and has very similar reticle options as the 2.5-20 PLxC. This new PLxC is likely not gonna be better than the NX8, as most would be willing to save that extra 16%-20% for a much higher build quality.
