In actual research (not phony shit like you see on the Discovery or History channels), they'd sedate an animal & get valuable information from it (vital statistics, size, hair samples, draw blood, etc.). But this is not about actual research b/c research is boring to a dumbed down audience, so what used to be actually educational channels, like the Discovery Channel, have turned to folklore & generating phony suspense & appealing to the confirmation bias of viewers to keep them watching a whole SERIES on Bigfoot, instead of talking about ACTUAL animals that are fascinating & amazing & in danger of extinction. There are also ways of finding & studying elusive creatures that don't involve researchers having to physically be present. It's how they've gotten video footage of snow leopards in remote alpine areas of Asia. The scent of humans would keep some animals away. Now we have drones, night vision cameras, satellites that can read a license plate from space. There's no reason for these people with their TV crew recording them have to be in these areas unless they are setting up recording devices to leave behind for remote viewing/listening. But that would be boring for cable TV viewers b/c that's actual research.

@@That_Thicc_Cat Thanks for letting us all know what a coward you are that you are afraid of an imaginary monster. BTW, REAL researchers today would never kill an ACTUAL animal that is so difficult to find & study. They'd shoot it with a tranquilizer & while it's out, get as much info as possible on it. (Detailed photos of teeth, hands, etc., take hair samples, get a blood sample, measure EVERYTHING (fingers, arms, legs, torso, circumference of the skull, etc.), cheek swab, etc.) Then they'd put some kind of tracking device on it (although a primate is going to get a tracking device off pretty fast until such devices get down to a size where they can be attached securely, are not noticeable to the animal, & aren't easily removed.

Not too often, being that we normally coordinate with other groups, by word of mouth or email that we are researching a particular area. I'm sure it's happened.. but if its close by.. we can normally end up seeing that its other researchers. But Bigfoots have the ability to broadcast their vocals from miles away.. humans cannot, even with special audio. One thing most of us researchers DO NOT do, is broadcast those long vocals, cause we don't really know what they mean. If could mean "stay away" to other bigfoots, and thus keep other bigfoots out of the area we are researching.

But this is not the 1800s & we have many technologies to capture evidence of animals, human activities, weather phenomena, etc. w/o having to PHYSICALLY go there now. Science needs proof, not a TV show generating "suspense" & pretending the researcher is in danger of a bigfoot attack to keep increasingly ignorant couch potatoes watching their channel.

I was up in the mountains and I played that exact same call that she was playing in a different call from a different video and I was doing some tree knocking and then something growled at me. I could not see what it was and I was by myself. Wasn't a mountain lion it was either a Bigfoot or a bear or a person. And it sounded like a Bigfoot growl from other videos. So I got out of there pretty quick.

Back in the 80s when my dad was 12 he was at his cousins house. They lived in southeast Alaska. They were inside the house in his cousins bedroom playing video games. His cousin Toni let out a scream that scared all of the kids in the bedroom. Toni said she saw a head and shoulders go by the window- that’s why she screamed. The weird thing is her window is 8 feet off the ground.

BS! Every vid about something paranormal or otherwise like bigfoot or wolfmen. There's always a story claiming someone friends dads son had an encounter or saw something in the woods or near their house. And it's all bullshit.

I believe you. And I didn't know "bigfoot" was a real thing until I encountered a family of them multiple times while hunting in the woods of coastal Maine. The people who don't believe it are entitled to their bekiefs, but the shaming has got to stop. All you people calling bs and making fun of these people would not be doing so if you were in someone's shoes who really saw one or had a bad experience in the woods. These things are not apes by the way they are giant hairy men.
@Donovantheveteran5 жыл бұрын
And just to add to that they are hyper intelligent. They can smell human scent better than any other animal. And they do not like visitors and will throw objects at you, howl, etc. And I have heard the exact howl that responded to her. Granted. It is television, but I can't dismiss the likeliness that it is a real creature reaponding to her calls. I do not recommend people do these kinds of things, especially alone. These beings could rip you in half no problem.

I’ve watched the whole series thru episode 7. I really want to believe. But this show has some issues with the truth. 1) when they find a “nest”, why don’t they go into it to collect hair or any other evidence? Why don’t they use the new environmental DNA tests? 2) when they get an infrared signature of a “large, upright “ animal, why don’t they walk in its direction? Why do they just stop? Why not walk towards it and look for any hair or footprints where they saw the heat signature? 3)when they record “red eye shine” why not move toward it? Yes it would be able to cover ground faster than the humans, but if you want to find something why would you stop instead of continuing in the direction you saw it? I could go on as this stopping instead of pursuing evidence occurred in every episode. All the evidence they say they got is not much at all. Intensely disappointing TV and 7 hours of my life I’ll never get back.
@jacquelynm52045 жыл бұрын
Look up Melba Ketchum's Sasquatch genome project if you want to learn about their DNA. I've seen lots of hair samples under a microscope, it's amazing. I am certain that the Sasquatch exist, I've had a number of experiences as well as a sighting. There's plenty of evidence available at our fingertips.
@CM-yo9jk5 жыл бұрын
I am nearly at the end of watching this and it is so disappointing for the reasons you outline above. They have so much technology at their fingertips but they do not use it intelligently or with any scientific methodology at all. Their data gathering is so crap its almost as if they are making a determined effort to have any evidence that the do find utterly discredited. So maybe there is something out there after all!
@danielschannel4445 жыл бұрын
I agree, they do way to much prefacing too I hate it when they overdue the behind the scenes instead of just getting to it. If I was there I would want a armored vehicle so I wouldn't have to worry as much of being run out of the place or killed by bigfoot or other wild animal.

It's very impressive how intelligent these "Bigfoot" beings are! Not in the way we humans use the term, but in the perception!! Hearing, smelling, feeling,seeing, sensing!! They're so much more advanced in all these features than we are, that it is no great deal for them to hide from us. When we enter the woods, we're loud (talking, laughing, crackling some branches), we're disturbed by almost everything! Music, conversations and so on. We are unable to move gently, silently. They can sense us from the distance. They know that we're coming that early,that they have a lot of time to leave,go away. Or to hide (climb up a tree, we rarely look up the trees) behind a bush or Rock.we don't see or sense them, even when they're a few feets away,just standing motionless next to a tree,bush,whatever!! They're living the woods!!!!!! Hearing, seeing, smelling, feeling....a highly sensitive perception we had once too. But we lost everything!! Because we chose the life in cities, houses, full of noise, motors, sirenes, screams and idiots. We are not able to move in the woods and really sense the World....the nature

After listening to all those persona testimonials of encounters with Sabe people (aka Bigfoot) on the How to Hunt KZbin channel, I think the odds are next to zero that they don’t exist. So many great, detailed accounts from people who have personal sightings. There gets to be a point where you realize there just aren’t that many people interested in making up a detailed story just for kicks. Their accounts usually are full of detail about their personal backgrounds, when and where their incident took place, what they were doing at the time, who was with them, what their surroundings were like, what they saw and how they reacted. Many of them were embarrassed by the fear they felt, how it made them feel inadequate and how people they trusted wouldn’t believe them. Most people have better things to do with their time than to make something up in great detail, not knowing if it will even be read by the channel’s host. Of course there are always exceptions, but I think most of the personal accounts are genuine, that these beings are intelligent and in many ways, an enigma.

Moment of honesty here, it’s quite disheartening to read all of these comments making fun of this video and the possibility of the animal’s existence. I see comments like this and much worse on nearly every Bigfoot video I see-but every now and then I see comments like yours that lift my spirits. And yeah, if Jane Goodall believes such an animal exists, there’s a big reason to be open-minded. Even before I knew as such, I’ve been a believer for years-and I’ve had more than a few strange encounters that only strengthen that belief in this creature. As of right now, my biggest wish is to actually SEE one for the first time. Fingers crossed that it comes true.
