G'day Tim, thanks again for a wonderful presentation. That is one stunning bible. You always do a wonderful job at pointing out all the upgrades of a new edition like this one. Definitely a Christmas present for myself. I love the Judge.

I am torn between the Lockman and the Zondervan. They are both beautiful textblocks.

Hey thanks Tim! That layout looks just like my 77’ that my mom got me back in 82’ for my baptism. I’m glad to see they’ve gone back to that classic kind of a layout. Would be awesome if they would make one in red letter. Love the cover and the spine with those raised hubs and think I’d probably keep it just like that instead of saving it for a rebind👍

I love mine! Today, I ordered a rebind from Frost Leather.

I wonder if they will do a compact 95 prime

It’s pretty unpredictable.

@@anickelsworthbiblereviews Quick question. Why hasn't anyone reviewed the Steadfast NASB 95 large print compact? I couldn't find a review anywhere for that particular Bible. It's the same size as the PSQ I believe.

How does it compare to the Schuyler?

A Bible referred to as the Judge. Can you please give some history to this new Bible referred to as the Judge??
@anickelsworthbiblereviews Жыл бұрын
It is a nickname given to the original layout of this bible by some Bible nerds. The paper and the layout was one that they said was the “judge” of all others. It is long out of print and fetches some big money when one goes up for sale. So this edition, for obvious reasons has been greatly anticipated.
@jkdbuck7670 Жыл бұрын
The Judge is the 2002 printing of the NASB single column reference. The story goes that the printer didn't have the cheap paper and only had the French mill super awesome paper and had to use it. But I wasn't there.

Are the book introductions really in the way or interrupting the reading experience? Isn’t it just as easy to move past them when reading? I would rather not have them at all instead of having them in the back. First world problems, right?
@anickelsworthbiblereviews Жыл бұрын
Some of the more lengthy ones can be cumbersome for me. We are blessed indeed with all these options.

I have the Burgundy Zondervan and have spent some more time in it since these reviews for the Prime upgrades have hit the tube. Forgot how great it is, only lament its not complete reference set. Since I have the LSB ICR as well think Im good. I am impressed with these but I find the lack of justification on the right unbalanced for me but if Tim Wildsmith wants to send me one for Christmas how could I say no.

And it's a 1995 not a 2020? Why go with older Edition??
@anickelsworthbiblereviews Жыл бұрын
Because it’s still a popular translation. The 2020 was never intended to replace the 95.
@MFPWM2010 Жыл бұрын
Because the 95 version did not change language to be “gender inclusive.”
