Prime REVEX 4 Review

The new Primes are just flat out great bows. The grip is just phenomenal. It is amazing how it doesn't get hot in the sun and it is never cold to the touch in winter. I have the Inline 3, and it is far and away the best shooting bow I have ever owned.

Nice can't agree more. Had by revex 4 since March the best bow I have ever shot. Used for 3-D and will be hunting with it this fall. Just a dream to shoot and holds amazing. If anyone is thinking about getting one just shoot one and you will not be disappointed!

I liked the Revex 4 so much I bought one.. Blew it up at TAC, my local bow shop fixed the derailment and I finished the shoot. Didn't shoot great, but it worked at least. 😂 Great bow and good review. 2024 though, I think best bow goes to the Mathews Lift 33, at least IMO.

The Revex 4 has an awesome draw cycle. I am older and have become a 50-55 lb shooter. The only Revex 4 in left hand that my shop had was a 70#. We backed it off to 60# and it pulled like the low 50s. Very smooth and easy. No humps or bumps. The center grip is legit, if you have never shot a Prime center grip bow, you need to try it. These bows are dead in the hand and quiet. I hope Prime just sticks with the Revex for another year and maybe just offer a picatinny sight mount and an integrate rest option. Oh, and offer a solid 2 piece quiver option please Prime! While I know the draw length specific mod is a bit of a hassle for shops, it is awesome for the shooter. It maximizes the performance of the bow at all draw lengths. This is a good thing, not a detriment. My guess is Prime will stick with this system for a few years and there will be plenty of mods out there. Good stuff from Prime - they just need to stick with it and not make and big changes. Oh....fit and finish are easily the best in the industry, by far.

Man... When can we see new Prime target bows? They haven't come with target bows since switching to the normal cam design.

Cant wait to see the 2025 version. If i have a 30.5" DL do you think I'd be making a mistake buying a revex 4, that maxes out at 30.5"?

For sure. Let off is higher than a regular target bow, but if you aren’t othered by that, it will do great.

That severe string angle created by Prime's high grip design is a concern. Their long ATA target bows are pointless.

It’s only a concern till you go shoot one and that pin is dead lol.
