U-Substitution 5-sample video

In this video, I solved 5 sample problems on Integration technique called U-Substitution. This is employed when the function cannot be easily integrated because it is a composite function.

Wow, this is the best explanation I've seen so far. Having the 5 samples is great because it shows what to do in different scenarios and provides practice. I'll need to check out the rest of your videos now because if the quality is this good, I'll be able to really cement everything I've learned so far. My only suggestion is to include 1 more trig problem because I find that's usually what trips people up.

Thank you for the review - great job. I think the extra steps to take the first solution to (1/15)*(3x-1)*(2x+1)^(3/2) + C would have looked prettier but hey, that's just me!

Great video, as always! Personally, I prefer to 𝑢-substitute the entire square root (not just the radicand), because that way the integrand tends to have integer exponents instead of rational exponents, which greatly reduces the risk of making any careless mistakes.
