Primer 3/3! - '72 Plymouth Duster Restoration PART 23

I originally uploaded this video with a Premier but I just wanted to add a few things to make it complete. So here's a straight upload covering the final piece involving the primer work on all the inner surfaces of the car before doing the outer sheetmetal. Enjoy!

I’m doing a 71 dart but it’s a North Carolina car the bottom is mint I have a few places to get a little metal put in very little but lot of surface rust it’s pretty easy to sand just need some Eastmans product for it get at it you are a great body man you do awesome work wish I had your talent

Yeah #1! Had to give up on my duster bro.. rust was WAY to bad, like way worse that i thought, but i love your progress on yours buddy. Went back to my roots and got a 66 vw bug, tiny bit of rust but i know my way around the old vw's Dont hate on me lol

So would por 15 be easier or not for the underside of the duster ? Do you not like that product ? For the surface rust I mean…… will you be going this deep into the other Mopar project ?

I will go pretty deep into that one too. POR15 is fine. Last I used it you had to use a tie-coat primer to be able to top coat it with anything besides itself. Overtime I'm a bigger believer in just blasting rust and anything left dealt chemically. And if you can't get anything left, use Eastwood Rust encapsulator.

I would just briefly cover the rest of the priming process. Then go straight to the bodywork. Priming isn’t tough to do. Bodywork and blocking is a lot tougher.

Are you going to to move springs in I guess not or you would have the supports or whatever ther called to move springs in or are you
