Great video. I have two questions. What did you use to clean the white-collar housing that holds the primer bulb? Second, why did you put the outer hose to the carburetor on first instead of the center one as I thought it would be easier to do the center than the outer?

I suggest using any fast evaporating solvent to clean such as gasoline or carburetor cleaner. I would not use lacquer thinner. The key is to position both hoses to accept the bulb as you insert it. As you push it in, get them both 1/2 way on. This a very tight space your working in. What's driving all this is that they made the outer hose tube longer than the center hose tube. (See beginning of video.) If install the hose onto the short center tube first, you'll never get the outer hose on the longer outer tube. The primer bulb has to be almost on to get the center tube 1/2 way on. This puts the longer outer tube almost against the gas tank with no chance of installing the outer hose. They must be done together.

Does anything hold the carb on to the throttle body? (Besides the 2 screws that hold the housing together) it seems weird that it just sits there while you put everything back together

As I recall the carburetor sits on two pins and moves freely once the housing is removed. The outer housing locks carb into place once the housing bolts are installed.
