This scene is the perfect balance between geniusly haunting and psychologically diabolical because in face value you see her use this enchanting tactics to give into Dre/Kayla’s subconscious but also there is an underlying level of encouragement/affirming Billie’s character gives gives as Dre details her dissociating from her attack on a friend as she describes it as “spilled milk”. The affirmation she fuces when Billie’s character says “…good.” After asking if Dre hurt someone? Is absolutely chilling. It’s literally showing us as the audience how dark psychology methods and witchcraft can be leveraged to penetrate someone’s deepest psyches - even if they don’t see their action/behavior as irrational and violent as it really is… hence Dre’s path of eventuality being a serial murderer. This show was amazingly written but demonic in theme - wild.
