Jack Ryan Season 1 is one of the best shows ever created. The story, actors, editing - everything is extremely well put together. It deals with complex issues but shows both sides. Entertainment at its best. A pity that Season 2 dropped the ball. Hoping for an improvement in Season 3.

Love how super realistic it is too, if your gonna send a Blackhawk to go pick someone up in the states, you wouldn't see an all blacked out chopper, it would be a coast guard chopper to pick him up there's most coast guard stations all over the us, one could be able to pick him up at a moments notice, especially since the coast guard is military, they have military clearances for sensitive information and people

@@tipofthespear1 - Yeah, they filmed Jack Ryan Seasons 3 & 4 back to back (two year shoot). So, I would presume they would release them a year apart. Especially since AmazonPrime is doing SO many good TV series. Jack Ryan, Jack Reacher, The Terminal List, The Boys, The Wheel of Time, The Rings of Power, etc. Need to have a packed release schedule, but nothing to canibalize the previous or the next released show. Cannot complain, that is for sure.

It is such a bewildering experience leaving somewhere in a helicopter unexpectedly. Back in mid-1980s I left Lukla, below Mt. Everest, in the then-king's Puma helicopter after it dropped off a team of geologists, and when nothing else was flying in the blanketing clouds. It was such a strange feeling to arrive back in Kathmandu, especially having flown just 100 feet above one of the intervening mountain passes. But John Krasinski carries it off with maximum cool. I was merely bewildered, and followed it with a Star Beer. Star Beer had on the label it was made with German collaboration. Strange phrasing, but fine beer.
