@Timberwolf355464 жыл бұрын
The base of the kiln where the majority of heat stays should be at least 2x as thick to prevent cracking and increase longevity. You could also use ancient cement you make for a sealing and insulation layer on outside. I believe that I have been thoroughly inspired to go source some clay and limestone to build a nice forge and pottery kiln. I love watching your videos. I always watch them first when they appear in my feed.

I dont think he made it. Most of the these types of channels shows the process of how you would do it with the tools that they made. But after they would use more modern tools to get the project finished in a timely fashion. If they used the tools they have. It would take 3-5 times longer to do anything.

Anyone can do it. Just know what you want to make and use what you have around you. In the game of survival there are no rules, building codes or people to tell you not to get dirty or try a new thing. I went in my backyard and started cutting a tree down. Had no plan, just wanted to see where the mood took me. Next thing I know I made a firepit to burn the wood and expanded my patio to meet it, planed some boards out of the trunk and made a bench to sit on.

With a chimney just immediately after the door (between the door, and the dome of the oven so that it is understood) the smoke is prevented from returning and not from in the face. In addition, the mouth of the oven is prevented from turning black.

There was no clay on the base of the oven, but the packed earth base should protect the logs. Dirt is a really good insulator, and wood doesn't spontaneously combust until it hits REALLY high temperatures.

Is there a way to build a hut with under ground heating. Have a fire that leads under ground threw bamboo with rocks over the bamboo covered in dirt. Have a chimney that you open to start the fire. Then close it off and use a pump to push the air threw the pipes. Have multiple chimneys on the other side that go up above the hut. If you want heat close 1st chimney and pump air in it should keep going.
