Primitive Skills

Hello everyone, my name is Duong.
I am 32 years old.
I live in a poor mountainous area of Vietnam.
From a young age, I had to work hard to help my parents.
Difficult life is always around, I work and learn everything from my grandparents and the old people in the village.
Gradually, I mastered the skills.
5 years ago, I decided to live the challenge.
Determined to learn about the primitive way of life, I chose to live in the wilderness, alone.
Where there's no technology and forcing yourself to pass, it feels great!
How about you? Your life is definitely different from mine.
Have fun watching the video!

Sugar, instead of cutting squares of cassava, cut squares of the stem of the banana tree that you felled. Then combine the stalk chopped into small squares with flour, either from rice, corn or cassava, or a combination of all. This super food will serve you to give to all kinds of animals, chickens, pigs, ducks, fish, etc. In addition to being cheap and saving a lot, the animals will grow and fatten quickly. ^^ 👌👍👍

21:10 Hello to cut the weeds you could restart the forge to make a scythe that would allow you to stay upright and quickly mow the garden. In any case, it's absolutely brilliant what you do and it's very pleasant to watch, I'm myself in the countryside, and seeing the chicks running around reminds me of mine. Good luck for the future and thank you for the videos. Hello from France.

Advice? Some types of flower are attractive to butterflies. If you plant these, it will ensure plenty of caterpillars for the chickens. The earthworms are valuable for the soil. Another idea is to put a water container under the chicken coop. This will catch poop and make excellent fertilizer.

Apreciado Duong. No te parece ideal? Un fuerte abrazo desde Cali, Colombia, Suramérica.

Charles Dowding is a master. He has a channel. Fermenting the chicken feed adds to its nutrient value, and making a compost heap they can't dig into will produce a lot of earthworms for the chickens.

Save the banana tree trunk ! Banana fiber makes top quality ropes and cordage. Thread made with banana fiber is also used as a Silk substitute, and makes fine cloth. Cordage (rope, cords, string, thread) should be your next project. From there you can develop the loom and the weaving of cloth. All skills that are ancient and necessary for evolutionary advancement.

you should make a compost area with a hard bottom with good solid sides, so you can collect worms in it, as they will breed and this can keep your soil turned in a less physical manner for no till gardening. Assuming you can take the time to learn its ins and outs. Compost is also a great way to get chickens food, as it attracts insects.

Hi Duong aren’t the babies so cute. Be careful with giving worms to new norms they don’t have the grit to digest them until they have been loose a few days. After they have picked up pebbles they can grind food themselves. That’s why we grind grains fine for babies. Mommies will cut up foods for her chicks. I just love to play with babies this tames them and my voice becomes the call for food just like the mothers cluck. I think animals take away lonely ness . Even calling the fish is enjoyable. Salut Duong!

Your baby chicks are beautiful and it was so nice to see you smiling at them! : ) Will the momma hen and chicks go back in the nest each night for awhile or will you build a special chicken coop for the chicks and momma? You really need a scythe. It would make clearing weeds, etc., off of your garden areas so much quicker and easier. As the weed coverage in your garden area, might be a good green manure, cutting them regularly and either composting them or letting them lay and decompose. Curious… can the cassava also be pulverized with your hammer mill? Can you process larger quantities, like a weeks worth at a time, of the cassava in powdered or chopped form and store it in bamboo containers, ready to feed?
