Hello everyone, my name is Duong.
I am 32 years old.
I live in a poor mountainous area of Vietnam.
From a young age, I had to work hard to help my parents.
Difficult life is always around, I work and learn everything from my grandparents and the old people in the village.
Gradually, I mastered the skills.
5 years ago, I decided to live the challenge.
Determined to learn about the primitive way of life, I chose to live in the wilderness, alone.
Where there's no technology and forcing yourself to pass, it feels great!

Your videos give me a sense of peace, thank you for all your hard work. They also bring me memories, especially this one. I live in the UK and grew up in a village in the Penines, my grandfather had a gorgeous garden with food and flowers growing in it, it always seemed neighbours were jealous of it. I remember him saying that the way to put nutrients into the soil was to use the ash from the living room fire and mulch it into the soil. The potatoes he grew and the greens were gorgeous. I miss having a garden to grow fresh vegetables in. Thank you for this memory.

Why dont you put the chicken eggs in the coup where they sleep? Put some dry soft grass there too for the chickens. They like soft spots to nest in and sleep also. Great videos as always! I would love to live like you one day!

You should never leave a stump sticking up sharp, especially those small ones from a sapling. You are working on a hillside where it is all to easy to slip and fall, even for a strong young man like you. One vine grabbing a toe and you could either step on one or fall and get impaled. Presumably you are there alone or presenting us with skills to show how to do it. Leaving a sharp stub is very poor practice. It only takes a second to cut it off flat or smash with a rock to eliminate the danger.

This property is breath taking,! With the mountain backdrop, such a variety of green trees and plants, and now we see the water runs around it. The banana orchard I love it. Hey Duong. Great work again! You work hard my brother! I would just like to caution not to chop down all your trees. Rather leave some in strategic positions as support species and interplant a variety of the food perennials for consumption in-between. You are already living the dream, but maybe you should look up permaculture, just to get a bit more sustainable practices incorporated in what you are doing for the long run, so the next generations will still reap from the hard labour you are pouring into this property!

Duong I believe you should eat all the eggs but one, so the hen doesn’t abandon the nest. Unless the hens has a rooster around to fertilize the eggs, the eggs will not hatch.

Duong I am happy when I watch your videos!! But I also worry about you getting injured because you don’t wear any footwear, or shoes. If you don’t protect your feet, an insect, or snake could bite you, and poison you. You could get a cut with any sharp objects, or a sharp piece of wood. You could also get fungus, or get an infection if the skin of your feet have a cut. etc. Take good care of yourself Duong and try to wear some type of footwear.
