Oh my goodness. Incredible cover of an underappreciated song. As far as the genre "90s music" goes it's always been my favorite and this does it justice.

My best friend just lost his 2 year old baby girl a few days ago. I put this on and it literally brought me to my knees. She will never get to experience the highs and lows of life. She will never get to read comic books, look up to superstars or meet her first love. As a man with two daughters myself, it hits home and this song further confirms it. I hope everyone out there appreciates every second of their lives and are happy. One love. ❤

Excellent choice of drumbeat there and super tightly played as well as the bass. That's the backbone of the song most covers get wrong. Best rendition of the song on KZbin. Doesn't aim too high and kills it with it's beautiful simplicity. Very nice!

at first i hated this but, it quickly grew on me (Really impressive unique cover) The entire Rocket Album by Primitive Radio Gods is criminally overlooked in many ways it’s the best Pink Floyd album of the 90’s as a underground/niche as they were that entire album is fantastic! You guys should consider doing more tracks off that album (the entire album is very complex it’s easy to disregard the album but, it’s really enjoyable

Decent take... But all the covers Ive seen fail to realize that a huge, HUGE part of what makes that song so amazing is the BB King sample. Nobody uses it and it loses TOO MUCH without it.

Straight out the gates, the drums get you. You recognize it, but those drums convey a little more complexity in exchange for power. What follows is soulful introspective rendition that sacrifices little from the original.

Jan lays down and wrestles in her sleep Moonlight spills on comic books And superstars in magazines An old friend calls and tells us where to meet Her plane takes off from Baltimore And touches down on Bourbon Street We sit outside and argue all night long About a god we've never seen But never fails to side with me Sunday comes and all the papers say Ma Teresa's joined the mob And happy with her full time job Do do do do do do Am I alive or thoughts that drift away? Does summer come for everyone? Can humans do as prophets say? And if I die before I learn to speak Can money pay for all the days I lived awake But half asleep? Do do do do do do A life is time, they teach us growing up The seconds ticking killed us all A million years before the fall You ride the waves and don't ask where they go You swim like lions through the crest And bathe yourself on zebra flesh I've been downhearted baby, I've been downhearted baby, Ever since the day we met

"I've been downhearted babe, I've been downhearted babe, ever since the day WE MET! Ever since the day WE MET!" Thanks for a great rendition of a great song but YOU LEFT out a couple of key words...
@PressingStrings4 ай бұрын
@@WhatIfTrayvonMartinHadAGun Go back and listen to the original and figure out where it says YOU LEFT. It doesn’t, not one time. Actually the sampled chorus line originally from BB King’s “How Blue Can You Get” says “Ever since the day WE MET”… 🫳🏼🎤
