Funny how the announcer claims his fists seleom landed when he has the most KO's of any HW champion ever 😂😂😂

Wow, the announcer is really brutal in describing Carnera's boxing abilities. Also the announcer sort of half way breaks Kayfabe by acknowledging that there are people out there that think wrestling is fake. It shows that even in the 50s there was a big enough contingent of people out there that believed wrestling was staged.

It was often common back then to take wrestling footage and have a narrator (he wasn't at the match, just reading a script after like this guy) make fun of it, often implying it was tongue in cheek. There were wrestling exposes in the 1950s fairly frequently in magazines. My parents and their friends would pretty much tell me it was not on the up and up. They thought it was entertaining, not real. They didn't smarten me up too much, like telling a kid there's no Santa Claus.
