How fast was that 3 count? Did the ref have dinner reservations somewhere?

How in the world did the ref survive being hit with a flying drop kick @1:59? In modern-day wrestling, he'd be unconscious for several minutes.

Is this the theatrical release of the patterson/gimlin film? I saw it in the theater, but don't remember what it was called.

This has been an interesting documentary to watch. However, I would give one correction. There is no "Washougal County". I believe that the narrator meant to say "Washougal River" which is a tributary of the Columbia River that starts in Skamania County (Washington) and flows into the Columbia River in Clark County (I am a lifelong resident of this county) by the cities of Camas and Washougal. I also believe that is the body of water that Robert and Elizabeth cross on the logs around the 39:00 mark of the film. Mt. St. Helens is also in Skamania County and to this day, the official seal has pre-May 18, 1980 image of Mt. St Helens and Spirit Lake.

It's so awesome to see a classic match from the 1930s on here in it's entirety. Wrestling fans of today just don't appreciate the history of the business.

Oh this takes me back to being a little boy in Corona, CA. I watched this for the first time in 1976 as a 6 Year Old. It was at night on either CH. 5 or 9. I was hooked. This, and anything about UFOs were my go to movies. Especially if Rod Serling was the host.

The problem with the bigfoot legend has always been the insistence that they are fully bipedal. Given their reported size, it would make sense that they would be knuckle-walkers, like gorillas. Bigfoot should be too heavy to walk fully upright all the time.

Many people give basically the same account, these people have never met each other so that tells me that they are probably telling the truth.

The referee letting the boys on the sky, that the microphone was for TV was hanging right above them. I often wondered what they talk about in those meetings when the mic isn’t there. Some old school wrestlers often say they sometimes never met the opponent until they got in the ring with them. So, maybe they talked about finishes.

OK this is what the early 1960s? Like '62? That just makes it all the more credible because you could be mercilessly mocked and destroyed for mentioning anything like this, at that time. Talk about cancel culture, this was the same exact thing, without the internet, for "loony ideas" or strange beliefs.
