@chesterarthur8571 playing Prince songs isn't a walk in the park. Prince only fielded the best musicians. By the time the NPG is on the field, he has educated jazz level musicians. While Eddie's look is right for Prince, it's Eddie's ability with Tone, Tempo, and playing composition's perfectly that would get him that gig. Prince not only cared about the music, each album had a color scheme, and the band was clothed appropriately. All at Prince's direction.

@@Joeliii Any halfway serious drummer could play it back exactly as written. It's a much greater feat to come up with your own creative take on it and make it sound like it would have fit in on a primus album. Also, it's what they specifically asked everyone to do for their auditions
