I love seeing all the gen x drummers who grew up jamming to Primus on whatever kit they could get their hands on (ahem Sears catalogue drums) now auditioning for the band on their dream kits LOL. This guy crushed it with good energy, chops, and dynamics and looked like he was having a blast too! Good luck man!

there was this kid I was in a band with, back in the early 90's, best drummer EVER.... I hope he is trying out, as we were both, and the band we were in HEAVILY influenced by Primus.... if Primus, Voivod, Crust (local Austin band), and King Crimson, and the local Austin music scene had a baby together, that was us.... This kid killed it on drums.... wish I could remember his name...

Tour Drumming is hard, and for Primus especially. They've gone through many drummers since the start, I think they're going to need to become a two drummer band as they approach their golden years, like King crimson or pink Floyd. I think you aced your audition, hope to see you on the road!
