I was in N.Y.C. years ago and was caught in a huge downpour and was with my mom. I was soaked through and our hotel was in Jersey. The closest shop was The Gap, definitely NOT my style of clothing, but I needed something to replace my clinging silk dress. My mom bought me a pair of jeans and a black and natural striped v-polo shirt. I felt so damned preppy! Like I was a totally different person! Normally I would only wear jeans to work and dresses the rest of the time, and a polo?! No way!

I just came across this and seen the intro banner...Festival auf der Loreley St. Goarshausen Germany June 1997...It was August 20, 1977 that I camped all weekend on the side of the Hill overlooking the stage for The 2nd Golden Summernight! I feel like Jay Lane and Herb have a very similar style of drumming and Brain is very different from the two of them, style-wise, so I was very interested how some of the classics sounded with Brain on drums. And he kills it! I like how he makes them his own and doesn’t try to just mimic the parts on the albums. Good shit!
