This song is what got me into Primus. I was 15 or so and I’d go hang out with a friend down the street and his older brother was always playing this song. It grew on me and is one of my favorite songs. I’ve watched a few live videos of this song and the drummer seems to play it in “easy mode” for shows. You nailed it man. Shit gave me goosebumps 🤘🏼

Hmmm, Tim Alexander is about equal to Danny Carey for me. But their composing, or at least producing styles are quite different. Primus songs feel like a virtuous jam with tasty bits in all the right places, while Tool songs feel more like a contemplated project, with everything being specifically intentional.
