This is so dope, this is what music is about! The Entire experience is fucking nuts, I've see the boys live about 8 times. This footage is some of the best. My favorite event was the Tower theater in Philly in 2010, I think, and the boys played Hamburger Train....amazing

Very true, Primus is the only band that can boast to have had three awesome drummers
I've listened to this live version about 30 times already. The sound from the double bass and the bass guitar tremolo is sick. Gives me goosebumps everytime.

Don't need to vote at all when your Government is a defacto power. People stuck in the left/right paradigm are helpless and look at most things in black and white. The USA isn't the free republic it was advertised as... Music brings common ground to the masses, and you will find individuals with so many beliefs enjoying the same vibes. It really is a shame how polarized our world has become.

Buy a Carl Thompson bass. Pull the frets. Buy lots of pedals... and practice! lol. But I feel your frustration! I was on an Adam Jones kick for a while... and finally got a few Tool songs down. Third Eye was my favorite to play cause of all the pick slides and such...

That's literally how they came up with most of their songs. There's very little if any actual music theory applied here and instead it's just making weird noises until they like it. And honestly it is impressive because some of those basslines you would never come up with if you just did the theory

Curveball was the first, Jay and Brain both had stints before Tim, Jay is Les' favourite to play with... Seen them with Jay and Tim, both incredible but v different. Tim is more jazzy but Jay brings the funk with his hi hat work

He is in time. The drum part has a weird metering making it seem "out of time", but I can assure you he was in time the entire time. Just get a metronome.
